Wonderfnovel – Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) also serve as our End User License Agreement (EULA) and form a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “user”) and Wonderfnovel governing your access to and use of: (i) our websites (including http://www.wonderfnovel.com and sub-domains), (ii) our mobile applications for iOS/Android, and (iii) related services, features, and content (collectively, the “Services” or “Platform”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app and/or on our website. Your continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
1) Eligibility & Accounts
Minimum age. You must be 13 years or older to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent/guardian’s consent and supervision. The Services are not directed to children under 13.
Account. Some features require an account. You must provide accurate, up-to-date information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Third-party sign-in. If you sign in via Apple or Google, we receive only the identifiers needed to authenticate you. You remain responsible for securing your Apple/Google account.
One person, one account. Do not create multiple accounts to evade restrictions, manipulate features, or for abusive purposes.
Account deletion. You can delete your account in-app: Me → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent after any required security or cooling-off steps. Some records (e.g., lawful tax/audit logs) may be retained as required by law (see our Privacy Policy).
Suspension/termination. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or platform policies, or for security/operational reasons.
2) Content on the Services
The Services host (a) content we provide; and (b) User Content (content uploaded, posted, published or otherwise provided by users, including creators/writers).
2.1 Your User Content & License to Wonderfnovel
Your rights remain yours. You retain ownership of your User Content.
License to operate the Services. To run and improve the Services, you grant Wonderfnovel a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to host, store, use, reproduce, adapt (formatting, transcoding, localization/translation), publish, publicly perform, publicly display, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Services and our promotion of the Services (e.g., in-app/homepage placements, thumbnails, editorial highlights, emails, social posts showcasing the Platform), for as long as your content remains on the Services.
If you delete your User Content or delete your account, we will cease new uses within a reasonable period, except: (i) cached/archived copies not reasonably removable; (ii) where retention is required by law; or (iii) non-identifying references (e.g., “deleted user”).
Feedback. Ideas/suggestions you submit may be used without restriction or compensation.
2.2 License to Other Users
You grant other users a non-exclusive license to access and use your publicly available User Content through the Services as permitted by these Terms and product features (e.g., reading, commenting, sharing links).
2.3 Your Responsibilities & Content Rules
You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring you have all rights necessary to post it. Do not post or do anything that:
infringes or misappropriates any IP or proprietary right (copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral rights, publicity/privacy rights);
is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or violates sanctions/export laws;
depicts or exploits minors; includes pornography or sexually explicit content; or solicits sexual acts;
contains hate speech, harassment, threats, incitement to violence, or targeted abuse;
is obscene, excessively violent, or otherwise offensive;
includes personal data of others without consent, doxxing, or invasions of privacy;
contains spam, scams, malware, scraping tools, or attempts to bypass security;
violates platform policies of Apple/Google or our Community/Content Guidelines.
We may (but are not obligated to) moderate, remove, block, or restrict content or accounts at our discretion to protect users, comply with law, or safeguard the Services.
3) Intellectual Property & Takedowns
Our IP. The Services, including all software, design, and content we provide, are owned by Wonderfnovel or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial use as permitted by these Terms.
IP
with the subject “Notice of Infringement” and include: (a) your signature; (b) the work claimed infringed; (c) the allegedly infringing material and its location; (d) your contact info; (e) a good-faith statement of unauthorized use; and (f) a statement made under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
If you received a notice in error, you may send a counter-notice with (a) your signature; (b) the removed material and its location; (c) a good-faith statement that removal was a mistake; and (d) your name, address, and consent to jurisdiction in Singapore (or your SG district, if applicable) and service of process.
4) Virtual Items, Coins & VIP; Purchases & Subscriptions
Limited license. “Coins”, VIP status, and other virtual items are licensed, not sold. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may only be used within the Services per feature rules.
Pricing & taxes. Prices are shown before purchase and may vary by region and store. Taxes/fees may apply. We may change prices prospectively.
Where you pay. All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play (or other listed processors). We do not store your full payment card details.
Subscriptions.
●Wonderfnovel VIP Monthly Subscription: $19.99 / month (auto-renewing).
●Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
●You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple App Store / Google Play account settings.
●Cancelations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds.
●For iOS users: refunds are handled directly by Apple under App Store policy.
●For Android users: refunds are handled by Google Play policy.
●Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable.
Fraud & chargebacks. We may suspend/terminate your account or adjust balances for suspected fraud, abuse, or chargebacks.
5) Acceptable Use & Technical Restrictions
You agree not to: (i) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code; (ii) bypass security or usage limits; (iii) use robots/scrapers or bulk download; (iv) interfere with or disrupt the Services; (v) access accounts or data without authorization; or (vi) resell or exploit the Services except as expressly permitted.
6) Third-Party Services & Links
The Services may link to third-party websites/services or use third-party SDKs. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use is subject to those third parties’ terms.
App Store Provider Terms. When you download our app from Apple or Google, those providers are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. You also agree to comply with their store rules.
7) Privacy
Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use/share it, retention & deletion (including in-app account deletion), and your rights. Please review it carefully.
8) Disclaimers
THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content will be accurate or available at any particular time.
9) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WONDERFNOVEL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
IN ANY EVENT, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $500.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions/limitations; in those cases, the above applies to the fullest extent permitted.
10) Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wonderfnovel and our officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of laws or these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
11) Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time or delete your account in-app. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time (with or without notice) for violation of these Terms, legal requirements, or security/operational reasons. Upon termination, your licenses end and you must stop using the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, payments due, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, dispute resolution) will survive.
12) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) under the SIAC Rules then in force. Seat of arbitration: Singapore. Language: English. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Where local law grants you mandatory consumer rights to use a local tribunal (e.g., small claims), you may do so to the extent required by that law.
Injunctive relief. Either party may seek temporary or preliminary injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its rights pending arbitration.
13) Miscellaneous
Changes to Services. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Where required by law, we will provide notice.
Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary; the rest remains in force.
No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a reorganization, merger, or sale.
Entire agreement. These Terms and any referenced policies (e.g., Privacy Policy, Content/Community Guidelines, purchase terms shown at checkout) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
